Services for Teams and Organizations

"Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. The skills learned will be so valuable to me and those I work with!"...more

What could your team accomplish if it functioned as a single, cohesive unit?

Most team approaches to leadership and team development work first with the individual team members, and then leverage this growth for the benefit of the team.

We take the opposite approach - looking at individual performance within the context of the group. We engage the team itself as our client, rather than the individual members of the group. Working with the group as a single system, we expose the value of each individual's voice as a critical element of the whole.

We help organizations:

  • Develop strong teams
  • Manage conflict more effectively
  • Encourage positive collaboration between teams
  • Identify individual opportunities for leadership development
  • Increase sense of community within teams
  • Improve morale and retain employees

Our Process

We use a six-step process, customized to the particular needs of each group, team or organization, during which we:

  • Assess the current situation
  • Establish a unique vision for the team's success
  • Generate action-oriented goals which support this vision
  • Implement new leadership competencies within the team
  • Create a dynamic, effective work environment which encourages inter- and intra-departmental collaboration
  • Address negative influences affecting team performance

Benefits of Team Coaching

Our work with groups is both thorough and intensive, and engages every member of the team. As a result of this process, teams develop:

  • Improved conflict management and problem solving skills
  • A shared sense of purpose and vision
  • Consistent goals and strategies
  • An instinct to value the voice of every member, including those who:
    • Diverge from "mainstream opinion"
    • Are in conflict, with one another or the group
    • Are reticent to "speak up"
  • A powerful sense of community
  • Increased positivity
  • Increased creative capacity

As an assessment tool, we are an authorized provider for Team Coaching International's Team Diagnostic assessment.

Discovering Your Life's Purpose: Mission [Made] Possible
Enhance the Quality of Your Life by with a Personal Mission Statement

How many of us sleepwalk through our lives, stumbling like zombies from day to day, unaware of time's passage or the quality of the lives we lead? This session explores the concept of life purpose: activities are focused around clarifying this vision, which helps participants in the decision-making process. Attendees will leave this discussion with the building blocks of their own personally crafted mission statement, intended to lend clarity to the constant series of choices which comprises our lives.

Decision-making Made Easy
Aligning Choices with Core Values

Why do we struggle with making difficult decisions, avoid confrontations, and worry about the consequences of the choices we make? When a seemingly complicated decision is reduced to its essential elements, and these elements are compared with our core values, decision-making becomes much more manageable. This presentation incorporates "diad" coaching, in which attendees work together in pairs to define a set of core values, using a structured methodology. The session then develops an understanding of how to view decisions in the context of those values. Participants will take with them a set of tools that will assist them in making nearly any size or type of decision.
